Our story (like all good stories) begins with LOVE. Love of family, of Peru and especially our love for the street food we grew up with in Lima. In fact, we loved it so much we decided to create our own Peruvian Street Food Truck to share our love and BRING A LITTLE BIT OF PERU TO YOU.
MUNCHIE PICCHU is a celebration of our Peruvian heritage and the modern multicultural spirit of Peru. We are fusion of the old world with the new, descended from indigenous QUECHUA and AYMARA traditions infused with JAPANESE and AFRO influences.

Victor Medrano
Munchie Picchu was founded in Stockholm by VICTOR MEDRANO and developed in partnership with an international team of brand and franchise experts.
Victor was born and raised in Lima (the capital of Peru) where he learned the art of traditional Peruvian home cooking from his parents. His passion for food developed which led to a career as a professional chef working for acclaimed hotels and restaurants whilst travelling around the world.
Having settled in Sweden, Victor missed the food he grew up with and the vibrant street food culture of Lima. In this moment he was inspired to bring Peru to Stockholm and so Munchie Picchu was born!
